Ryland Fletcher

.List the requirements of Ryland Fletcher.
.Decide if Ryland Fletcher applies to the following scenario: A has bought slug poison to protect his tomato plants planted close to his neighbour B’s fence. After applying the poison, it rains overnight. The poison mixes with the rain water and leaches into the soil where the roots from the lettuce planted by A’s neighbour absorb the poison. The next day, B picks lettuce from his garden and makes a salad. A few hours later, B suffers from convulsions and has to be admitted into hospital. He is diagnosed with severe cramps that are traced back to the slug poison.
.As legal counsel for B, what claim of action would you have against A?
.As legal counsel for A, what defenses are available to you?
.As judge, listen to the arguments by both counsels and make your ruling
